Excellent and clever tutorial on scripting. It engages the student in the learning.

I found it so excellent that I used it for intoducing v-toys, a visual programming system for young children and international sharing of projects. Names of commands are replaced by icons.

Just Etoys tiles are replaced by v-toys tiles.

Of course,
I'll post it only with agreement of the author of this project in a next comment.

rcaton,
Thanks!

pad,
Thank you for your interest in this project. The original author of it is Toshio Miyasaka.

(written in Japanese)
I remixed it for OLPC Etoys two years ago. I'm not sure why his name is dropped.
Anyway I asked him and got his answer. He welcomes your offer, of course me too.
We're looking forward to see your v-toys version.
Cheers,
Kazuhiro Abe

I love this project. It's a great model for how to do testing of all sorts in Etoys. In other words, the "homework" for courseware should be projects like this.
